Before I began Chiropractic care, I could only bend my neck an inch or two to the right. Leftward mobility seemed fine, but going to the right caused extreme pain. Over the years, I became accustomed to this pain, and it did not bother me very much. Then I learned about Chiropractic care. I began seeing a chiropractic student at a school near where I lived at the time. The sessions there made my neck feel much better. I began to regain mobility almost instantly. The only downside to the techniques used at this school, was the highly "physical" quality to the adjustments. There was a lot of twisting and forcing being done. I felt much better, but the techniques made me slightly uneasy. When I moved to Seattle and found Dr. Sherwood, I was amazed at the difference in techniques from one school to the next. The technique Dr. Sherwood uses is very easy and does not involve the brute force that the other techniques I had experienced did. With a gentle tapping, Dr. Sherwood can accomplish the same things that the twisting and pulling accomplished, but without the "stress". I would very much recommend (and do recommend) Dr. Sherwood for anyone with almost any problem. I believe Chiropractic care can help a wide range of problems. Whether you were in a car wreck, have headaches, or are just stressed out, I believe the right Chiropractic care can help you. - Mark Keller ©2001 Sherwood Family Chiropractic.
